Marco Cochrane was born in Venice, Italy in 1962, in a family of American artists, and grew up in California’s political and cultural movements. As a result, Marco learned to respect unity, balance, sanctity, and the need to make the world a better place. In particular, he identifies with women’s struggles with oppression, and he believes that women’s energy and strength are essential to the balance of the world. Supporting this change soon became Marco’s life’s mission, although he never imagined that art would be the vehicle. In a daring attempt, he explored sculpting figures and discovered a talent he didn’t know existed…the ability to recreate a person’s essence in figurative form. When Marco started sculpting, he realized he was pursuing his mission…to empower women.
